Villa Rubini has a long heritage and the Rubini family are custodians of many literary and collectables of considerable interest.
That's why we decided to mount a permanent exhibition of artefacts which throughout difficult periods and wars have survived intact up to the present day, evidence of a world sunk to the point of oblivion.
The right wing of the Villa is still as left right after the WWII as it has never been used or restored since then.
From the Great War, when Villa Rubini was used as a garrison for Royal Carabineer, still remain pieces of writings on the frame of doors, marking the officer's lodging or the orderly's (in the garret).
Everything reminds us of the past. The old basic architecture, the library with ancient books, wardrobe trunks, the antique farming tools, day-to-day objects but today unknown and nameless.
